Kim is a 30 year old entrepreneur born in Cape Town. .She received her primary and secondary schooling in Bonteheuwel, where she grew up and received a scholarship to study accounting at UCT. Feeling the tug of performance though, she followed her heart to the bright lights of JHB in 2001. She soon got her first big break on MNET. She had presented numerous shows for MNET and SABC over the years, successfully crossing the broadcast divide.
 
Her acting career started 7 years ago – she has appeared in various dramas and soapies since. Her credits include Jacob’s Cross, 7de Laan, Isidingo, and one of her favorites: Wild at Heart for the BBC. Last year she completed her first feature film starring across opposite Kevin Smith (Frank from Isidingo).
 
In December 2007 she made her stage debut as Princess Tiger Lily in the pantomime Peter Pan for the JHB Civic Theatre. Two years later she performed a Naledi award nominated performance at the Market Theatre in a Mike Van Graan play titled Brothers in Blood. She shared the stage with stage greats David Dennis and Murray Todd.
